Best ever games for India

India has had the best ever Olympic games in the history of Indian sport.
Winning 3 medals in individual competition for the first time in Indian history.
This is the first of many to come I hope. For the first time Abhinav Bindra achieved gold medal for India in individual sport. First ever medal in boxing and 2nd ever medal in Wrestling.
Wow!!!!!
This I am sure would give a boost to all other neglected sports in this country and I hope it will wake up all the so called "administrators" of sport in India to concentrate on something other than Cricket.
Look at China for gods sake. It spent around $8 Billion over the last 4 years just to give training and facilities to its athletes so that they could be well prepared for the games of country.
If India could spend just a fraction of it to give hope to all the athletes in this country that they are well taken care off and they can solely concentrate on their sport.
This effort will surely bring many more Abhinav Bindras from India at the Olympics.
Who had heard of the names Sushil Kumar and Vijendra Kumar. Now I know and am sure the Whole of India is proud of the 3 men and all the other sport persons who represented India in the Olympics this year.
The Beijing 2008 games has almost come to an end. There were some phenoms like Phelps. There was a person trying to run and catch the bolt of lightning and then there was one very determined nation who wanted to show the world that their games was indeed theirs.
